The mission of Mansfield ISD Library Services is to provide welcoming spaces promoting literacy and self-directed learning exploration for all.

Mansfield ISD has policies in place to allow our parents to control the library materials available to their student.

All parents in Mansfield ISD have the ability to receive circulation emails when their student visits the library. To request circulation emails, please complete Parent Request for E-mail Notification form.

Library Information & Book Checkout Policy

Library Information and Book Check-Out Policy

Students in grades Kindergarten through second grade visit the library weekly. Third and fourth grade classes visit the library every other week. All students may also check out books during scheduled checkout times throughout the week.

Students may participate in our Open Checkout program, which gives them the flexibility to visit the library individually more frequently.

Books may be checked out for 2 weeks and may be renewed as needed. There is no checkout available for students with overdue books. Overdue notices will be emailed and sent home as needed.

Please help your child be a responsible library user by encouraging them to take care of their books and return them on time so that other Hawks can enjoy them too.
